Competition Descriptions
***In an attempt to get the Play Day’s events to go a little smoother and with less confusion, we will need to start promptly at the designated time. We ask that riders in the age group participating at the time to be near the arena in order to hear your name called so that you will be ready for your turn. Parents, please help the younger riders.
***Your name will be called three times for your turn, if you are not at the gate and ready to go after the second call, we will roll on to the next rider and a NO TIME will be recorded.
PLAY DAY HORSE COMPETITIONS
Play Day Horse Competitions comprise of Lead line, Youth and Adult classes.
We host Play Days in our lighted outdoor events arena. The events consist of barrel racing, poles, flags and one event that will be announced by our Arena Directors on the day of the event as well as being posted on the Facebook page.
Age divisions are Lead Line, 9 and under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-30, 31-49, and 50+ (a.k.a. The Classics).
Cost is $7 per event for members and $8 per event for non-members.
Ribbons are awarded to 1st to 10th place.
There is NO LATE entries once books are closed.
EXTREME HORSE COMPETITIONS
Extreme Horse Competition Events comprise of Youth and Adult classes.
Youth (16 and under) $10/horse with ribbons and year-end prizes.
Adult $20/horse with a 50% payback to the winner with a year-end prize.
This competition scores the rider and horse. You may enter more than one horse with an additional entry fee per horse.
